Sentry

Job Lab reports server-side errors through the Sentry SDK: anything thrown in a page, a route handler or a server action, and any background job that has used up its retries. Each report carries the request's correlation id, so a log line and an error report can be matched. The DSN can point at sentry.io or at a self-hosted GlitchTip, which accepts the same format and has a free tier of its own.

Worth knowing#

• Browser errors are not captured, and there is no performance tracing.

• The DSN is read once at start-up. Saving one in the admin needs a restart to take effect.

• Local Lab and Launch Lab have no error reporting service; they log to files.
