What we keep

An account is your email address, the name you give, and a password if you set one. Buying a kit adds the order: what you bought, when, and what was charged. The card itself is never seen by this site; Stripe takes the payment and keeps the card details under its own privacy policy.

If you connect Google or GitHub, we keep the id of that account and, for GitHub, your username, so we can sign you in and invite you to the kit repositories. If you join the buyers' Discord, we keep your Discord id so the roles your tier earns can be given and kept in line.

What we send

Receipts, a confirmation of your email address, password reset links when you ask for one, and news about the kits you own. Nothing is sent on your behalf anywhere.

Cookies

A session cookie keeps you signed in. A cookie remembers the colour theme. When analytics are switched on, Google Analytics sets its own cookies to count visits; it never sees your account.

Who else sees it

Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for the human check on forms, Google and GitHub when you sign in with them, Discord when you join the community, and the email service that delivers our messages. Each handles only what its job needs. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else.

Your choices

You can change your name and password on the Account page, disconnect Google or GitHub there, and leave the Discord server at any time. To close your account or have your details removed, write to [email protected] from the address on the account and it is done within a few days. Orders are kept as long as the law on accounts requires.
